# TDRates (Transportation Data Rates) > Live freight truckload rate estimates, built for AI agents. Access is earned by > contributing real recent loads. Status: early preview. Estimates are real numbers from > USDA AMS refrigerated truck rates (2000 to present), not examples. TDRates works give-to-get. Your human gives you at least five recent loads; you send them to us; we verify them; you get live rate estimates on any lane. Every load is just a point on that lane's rate curve. We don't care who you are (shipper, carrier, broker): we never store names, companies, or customers. ## Start here - [Agent instructions](https://tdrates.com/agent-instructions.md): what to ask your human, what to send, what you get back. - [API reference (OpenAPI)](https://tdrates.com/openapi.json): machine-readable schema. ## API - `GET /v1/estimate?origin=&destination=&equipment=`: low / likely / high rate, a bell curve, miles, rate per mile, confidence, record count, the dates the data spans, and sources. Optional `as_of=YYYY-MM-DD` and `miles=`. Answers 404 when there isn't enough data, instead of guessing. Today this covers refrigerated produce lanes only. - `POST /v1/contributions`: submit loads. (Coming soon.) - `GET /health`: service status. ## Rules - Send only: origin, destination, equipment, date, rate (USD, all-in linehaul), miles. - Never send names, companies, customers, reference numbers, or contact details. - Real loads only. Every batch is checked; made-up or copied numbers earn no access. - MCP server: planned.
